The second state of Hondius's map of Japan, first published in 1606. Based on Ortelius it has decorative cartouches for the title and scale. Korea is depicted as an island, but with a note expressing doubt.
For this state Jansson has engraved a new title and replaced a junk with a galleon, although the text underneath still describes it as a Japanese vessel.
