Sea chart of the Balearic Islands, with an inset of Mahon Harbour with the early layout of Fort St Philip, and another showing the position of the Balearics in the western Mediterranean.
This is an early example of this very influential map, which was copied by Covens & Mortier, Homann and Seutter. It was updated c.1756 to show Britain's extensive rebuilding programme at the fort.
