Detailed map of Poland according to the Congress of Vienna, which established the status quo in Europe at the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
Because the Poles had fought for Napoleon, seeing him as the best chance of reuniting their country, the Duchy of Warsaw was divided up between Russia and Prussia.
This example is on paper watermarked '1818 J Whatman Turkey Mill'. Whatman's paper was the best quality printing paper available at the time.
