A beautiful map of Italy, published in the first English atlas of the World, John Speed's 'A Prospect of the Most Famous Parts of the World'. It is decorated with eight vignettes of costumes down the sides and views of Rome, Genoa, Verona, Naples, Venice and Florence along the top.
