An attractive small map of the British Isles engraved by Tobias Conrad Lotter for the 'Atlas Minor'. In the top left corner an angel holds the arms of England, Wales Scotland, & Ireland, and in the top right corner is the title cartouche surmounted by the royal arms and surrounded by martial trophies. The map is coloured to show the kingdoms of the Saxon Heptarchy.
