A prospect of Cirié, near Turin in Piedmont. with magnificent cartouches for the arms of the Duke of Savoy on the left and Doria family on the right.
The map was published in the fourth volume of Johannes Blaeu's Townbooks of Italy, 'Pedemontium Florentissimum Italiae Latus', published after his death. Later editions were published by Moetjens, Mortier & Alberts.
The colour is particularly fine, with the armorials accentuated with gold
