A plan of Siena in the form of a bird's-eye view, with a 110-point key, based on the map by Francesco Vanni as engraved by Pieter de Jode.
The map was etched by the Bohemian Wenceslaus Hollar for Abraham Hogenberg's continuation of the Braun & Hogenberg series, when Hollar was working in Cologne 1633-6. The plate passed first to Jan Jansson who published it in his Townbooks, then to de Wit c.1694.
