Some staining to edges of map.

A detailed map of Bristol and Clifton with extensive keys down the sides linked to a grid on the map. The Clifton Suspension Bridge, opened in 1864, is shown but with no access roads.
John Lavers, a Bristol lithographer and publisher, operated from Broadstreet Hall between 1862 and 1874. He is best known for a panoramic view of Bristol produced from plate glass camera photographs taken from a tethered balloon 2,000 feet above the city.
